Team Radical: Water Platform Escape

TEAM RADICAL: WATER PLATFORM ESCAPE

On Southern Island, Rad the Raccoon, along with his sister, Marine and his girlfriend Crystal are walking to a building at Whale Point for some swimming fun, since they are wearing swimsuits (Rad has his green trunks, Marine her green top and skirt and Crystal her blue/green striped bikini) and sandals. Then they're at the door and Rad turn his head toward the girls.

Rad: "So, girls. Are you ready for something fun and new?"

Crystal: "Raddy, you know I'm ready for anything."

Marine: "Me too. But why are we going inside to swim?"

Rad: "Well it's something me and Gadget been planning for quite a while. Something we got from a game show."

Then the three went inside.

Crystal: "This oughta be fun, especially if it's from a game show. Wonder which one?"

Rad: "You'll see once you see what me and Gadget have made."

Crystal: "You sure like to excite me don't you?"

Rad: "I like to excite a lot of people."

Marine: "Strewth! So do I! I bet this is going to be VERY exciting!"

Rad: "It will be." ^_^

Then they meet with Gadget, who is at the controls by a pool of water with a rotating platform, with cuffs attach to them.

Gadget: "Hey guys, glad you're here."

Crystal: "Wouldn't miss it buddy." (looks at the pool and platform) "So, what's with the platform?"

Gadget: "Oh, that's a rotating platform and we're going to play a game with it. Something you three will all do."

Rad, Crystal and Marine look at each other and smiled.

Crystal: "I see what you did there..."

Rad: "Yeah, I had "Fear Factor" on my mind when I asked Gadget to build it."

Marine: "OK so who's goin' first?"

Crystal: "I will! I've always wanted to do this challenge."

Gadget: "Very well then my dear, just lie on the platform and we'll get you fastened in. I assume you know the rules for you and Rad are big fans of Fear Factor."

Crystal: "I know. My waist, wrist and ankles will be fasten on and I have to unlock myself and beat the clock."

Rad: "Good to hear, let's go."

Rad, Gadget and Crystal swim in the pool and got to the platform as Crystal got on the board and lie down as Gadget fasten her left wrist and waist and Rad does the ankles. Then he wiggle his finger at Crystal's foot making her giggle.

Rad: "You have cute feet Crystal."

Crystal: "Thanks Raddy."

Then Gadget attach a key ring on Crystal's right free wrist.

Gadget: "Those three keys will unlock those three locks you have on."

Crystal: "I wonder how fast I'll get free?"

Rad: "We shall find out babycakes. You've been caught a lot before but you've managed to free yourself a lot so that oughta give you an advantage."

(He kneels on the platform by Crystal's side and fingers her belly playfully.)

Rad: "Good luck gorgeous."

Crystal: "Thanks. Let's do it. Ready when you are."

(Rad gets off the platform and stands on the side of the pool with Marine and Gadget. Gadget is at the controls, waiting to get the platform rotating.)

Gadget: "Ready Crystal?"

(Crystal tugs on her bonds and glances at the key in her right hand.)

Crystal: "Ready...to get free that is."

Gadget: "Okay. Time starts..." (pressed two buttons) "...now!"

The timer starts and so does the platform as it rotates Crystal to the water, but the polar bear holds her breath as she works on her wrist lock. She sees that the first key doesn't work so she tries the second key but it's not the right one. Then the platform rotates her out of the water as she uses the third key to work it and it did as her wrist is free.

Crystal: "Ah-ha!"

Then she works on her left ankle as she's rotated to the water again. Rad watch in amazement.

Rad: "Wow, she's quite amazing, and brave."

Marine: "Strewth! Good thing she can hold her breath for a long time!"

Gadget: "Polar bears are renowned for their ability to contain the oxygen in their bodies for surprisingly lengthy periods of time. About 10-12 minutes maximum."

Rad: "Lucky for her indeed."

(Under water, Crystal digs the key into the lock on her left ankle bond. She fights hard to keep her mouth closed as she turns the key. It opens the cuff and her left ankle is free. The platform raises up out of the water again and Crystal takes in some air.)

Crystal: "Just my right leg now and challenge completed!"

Rad: "Good going babe! Well done!"

(Crystal smiles and leans over to undo her right cuff as the platform turns into the water again. Crystal unlocks her lock freeing her right ankle, then she undo the belt, holding her waist, finally freeing herself as she swim to the side and Gadget stops the timer.)

Gadget:"Time!"

Crystal: "Sweet! How I do?"

(Gadget looks at it.)

Gadget: "Amazing my friend...you did that in a minute and thirty seconds!"

Crystal: "Awesome!"

(She climbs out of the pool and Rad hugs her, not minding the fact she's soaking wet.)

Rad: "Great job baby! You're quite the escapist you are!"

Crystal: "Bet it would have been harder if my other arm hadn't been free already. Thanks Raddy."

Rad: "Any time. So who's going next then?"

Marine: "I will! I quite fancy a go at this thing myself!"

Gadget: "We'll have to adjust the cuffs a little, they're too short for you since they were meant to fit Rad and Crystal."

Marine: "I'll wait."

For a quick five minutes, the team adjust the cuffs for Marine, then they're finish as Marine swim to the platform and lie down as Gadget tighten the belt for Marine's waist while Rad and Crystal does the wrist and ankles, and Gadget attach the keys to Marine's free wrist.

Gadget: "hope you're not scared Marine."

Marine: "Why would I be mate?"

Gadget: "Well just want you to be okay since you'll be escaping on your own."

Marine: "I'll be okay Gadget."

Gadget blushed when Marine said that.

Gadget: "OK then...if you think you'll be OK, you'll be OK."

(Marine beams and then pulls on her arm and legs.)

Marine: "Crikey, ya got me tied down real tight! Hope I can free myself."

Rad: "You'll be fine sis, we wouldn't let you do this if it was dangerous."

(He and Gadget then swim to the side and Gadget prepares to activate the platform.)

Gadget: "Ready Marine?"

Marine: "Let's get the show on the road matey!"

Gadget: "Time begins...now!"

The timer and platform starts as Marine holds her breath as she enters the water and she works on her wrist, trying to unlock it. No luck as she use another key to undo her wrist, which it work. Marine smiled as she works on her left ankle and she resurfaced, catching some air.

Marine: (in her head) "Come on key... undo the lock!"

Marine knew this key is a dud, so she use another one as she's dunk again, and she got her left ankle free. Now she has to do her right ankle and she'll be free.

Rad: "My little sis is doing well."

Crystal: "Brave little girl for trying this...she deserves our congrats when she finishes."

Gadget: "She's only got one more cuff to go. Will she do it?"

(Marine resurfaces but she still seems to be having trouble undoing her right ankle cuff. The key won't fit so Marine tries the third one.)

Marine: "Blimey, each key fits a different lock. Clever Gadget."

(Gadget blushes as Marine says that. She goes under again as the platform turns and Gadget watches tensely, wondering if Marine will free herself before the time reaches 2 minutes. Then Marine tries a different key and it works as her foot is free and she undo the belt holding her and she swim to the edge as Gadget stops the time.)

Gadget: "Time! One minute and fifty seconds. Not bad Marine."

Marine: "Thanks Gadget matey."

Crystal and Rad helps Marine up, out of the pool.

Crystal: "Almost as fast as me Marine! Very well done!"

Rad: "I'm proud of ya sis. Great job."

Marine: "Aw bruv, you're so wonderful ta me. Thank you."

(She hugs Rad graciously.)

Crystal: "Aww...you two are such a cute pair of siblings."

Rad: "Well one tries."

Crystal: "Guess you're next then sweetie. Think you can beat my time?"

Rad: (smirks) "We'll see when I'm strapped in."

Then after Gadget adjust the cuffs again, Rad is on the platform, laying down, as Gadget and Crystal fasten Rad on. Then Crystal got to Rad's side and kiss him on the lips.

Crystal: "Mmmmmm..." (stops the kiss) "Good luck handsome and do your best."

Rad: (tugs on his bonds) "I will babe."

Crystal: "I know...and I will say you do make a cute captive."

Rad: "Least I'm your captive."

(Crystal giggles and then swims over to the side as Gadget prepares to start the platform.)

Gadget: "Ready my friend?"

Rad: (joking) "Don't suppose it's too late for a bathroom break?"

Gadget: "I'll take that as a "yes"." "Ready...time starts....now!"

Then the platform rotates as Rad is underwater and working on his wrist, surprisingly, the key worked and right wrist is free. Then he starts on his left ankle, trying to undo the cuff, but the key didn't work so he work using the next key and he resurface.

Marine: "Come on bro! You can do it!"

Rad nodded as he manage to undo his left ankle and now he has the right left and he's dunked again.

Crystal: "Wow he's working fast! Only dunked once and he's only got his right leg to free!"

Marine: "He might win!"

(Underwater, Rad tries a key on his right leg but it doesn't work. He tries the second key but it doesn't work again. Rad now has the key which will fit. The platform spins around and Rad resurfaces. He leans forward and sticks the key into his right leg cuff. He frees his right leg and sees to undoing the belt around his waist as he's dunked again.)

Rad: (thinking) Boy this was more fun that I imagined!

Then Rad frees himself and swim to the edge.

Gadget: "Time!"

Rad: "So, how I do buddy?"

(He climbs out of the pool and Gadget looks at the timer.)

Gadget: "You are the winner Rad! You did it in 1 minute 0 seconds!"

Rad: "Whoo hoo! I guess I'm a faster escaper!"

Crystal: "Looks like it Raddy baby."

Marine: "You're amazing bro."

Crystal and Marine hugged Rad as Rad hugged the girls back, as Crystal kiss Rad on the cheek.

Crystal: "You're quite an escape artist."

Rad: "You too, and you did look lovely strapped on the platform."

Crystal smiled as Gadget walk to the three.

Gadget: "Well done you three. You were quite amazing escaping the rotating platform. Even you Marine." ^^

Marine: "Cheers."

Gadget: "Hopefully this challenge will give us an idea on how to escape should we ever get caught and tied up in the future."

Rad: "Somehow I doubt the villain will leave one of our hands free and put the keys to our cuffs in our hands."

Gadget: "Either way, we certainly had fun today."

Crystal: "Agreed. We should do it again someday."

Rad: "We should. But now, let's go outside and swim for real."

Crystal: "Sweet idea Raddy, let's go."

Then Team Radical left the building to have fun at the beach, and it shows fear is not a factor for them.
