Episode 73: The Black Rising Part 3: Blazing Cat Fight

Last time on Sonic X-Treme, the Black Arms have arrived on Mobius and while everyone are fighting the aliens, we cut to the Sol Islands where Blaze, Rad and Marine returned to Blaze's homeland with the Eco Stone in hand.

Blaze: "I'll take it to the vault in my castle before they get here. When I get back, I want you two to be here with Crystal and Gadget."

Rad: "Their not that far, Blaze, so we'll be here ASAP."

Blaze: "Good. See you here soon."

Blaze ran off towards her castle as everyone around her began to head around the back of the island, as they all noticed the red portal in the distance. Coming out of the portal were four Black Arms ship, which hovered over Edge Island for a bit. Jasmine was in the lead ship and looked at Edge Island through the window.

Jasmine: "This must be where Black Terror gotten defeated by the local's ancestors...still, you all know the mission. Capture the Islands and search for the Sol Emeralds and the Eco Stone. I'll be heading to the island where the royal family lives."

The Black Arms in hers and the other ships nodded and began to spread to the other islands.

Back on the main island, Rad and Marine found Gadget and Crystal at the coast and they know of the invasion too.

Rad: "Guys! We have a problem."

Crystal: "I know, those monsters are going to attack the islands."

Gadget: "and they're mostly here for the Eco Stone and Sol Emeralds, like they were 50 years ago..." *

Marine: "We know mate. We have to stop those buggers!"

Rad: "First we need to go to Blaze and talk of a counter attack."

Gadget: "A good logical idea buddy, let's go."

Team Radical go to the Sol Castle where the koala guards are aiming the turrets at the incoming Black saucers, with Blaze and Gardon at command.

Gardon: "Take aim men!"

Blaze: "The moment they fly over the harbour, shoot to kill."

Gardon: "Understood ma'am. Your parents have been evacuated with the other civilians."

Blaze: "Very good, Gardon. Fight well and show them what you and your men are made of."

Gardon: "Certainly, Miss Blaze. Open fire!"

Blaze then leapt down from the stand of the turret as they all opened fire, shooting cannonball like fireballs at the Black Saucers, hitting a lot of them. Blaze sprinted down the street, watching as a few Black Saucers fell into the ocean or getting destroyed in mid air. Soon, she arrived at the harbour, finding Team Radical.

Blaze: "Good, you guys are here."

Marine: "All very ready to kick those creeps' butts, Blaze."

Blaze: "I am as well, Marine, but the other islands need rescuing, so your team will need to split into two groups."

Crystal: "I see...who will go with who?"

Blaze: "Crystal, Rad, you two go to the second island, Marine and Gadget will go you the third. You all need to destroy the Black Arms ships that are hovering there. Got it?"

Rad: "You can count on it, Blaze."

Blaze: "Good. Get to it, guys."

Gadget shyly follows Marine as they get on her sea bike, and her nervously out his arms around her.

Marine: "Comfy?"

Gadget: (blushing) "Y-Y-Yeah."

Marine: "You okay mate?"

Gadget: "It's nothing. Let's go!"

Marine nodded as she and Gadget rode off.

Gadget: (thinks to himself) "Wow, Marine is quite a brave girl and she's quite mature since she was training with Blaze..."

Rad and Crystal got to the Wave Cyclone and rode off.

Rad: "Well Crystal, ready to kick some alien butt?"

Crystal: (winks at him) "You know I'm always ready for action Raddy."

Rad: "Heh, thought so."

However, several Black Saucers fired upon them. Marine growled as one of the blasts nearly hit her water bike.

Marine: "Darn! Any way of getting these guys off our tail?"

Gadget: "I did put in some sort of weapon. Hold on, Marine."

Gadget reached down the side of the water bike and pulled a lever, and out came a machine gun. Marine glanced back and grinned,

Marine: "Strewth on ya, Gadget! Shoot em down!"

Gadget: "You've got it! I'll cover Rad and Crystal too!"

Gadget fired the machine gun at the Black Saucers, yellow blasters tearing through it and splitting it in half, making both parts hit the ocean. Gadget then fired on the ones chasing Rad and Crystal, send them slamming into the sea as well. Rad gave him a thumbs up and Gadget winked.

Gadget: "I gotta tell him and Crystal how to use their machine gun."

Marine: "Too right. Still, that was awesome shooting you did back there." (she winked)

Gadget: ( shyly) "Oh, h-heh, thanks." (he smiled)

Marine giggled. Soon, both groups reached the two island's shores.

Back with Blaze, she slammed a streak of fire into several Black Arm troopers as they arrived at the harbour. One swung it's blade at her, though Blaze leapt over the swipe, landed on it's back, grabbed it's head and twisted it. Blaze then dodged blasters and fired at the troopers shooting at her. Blaze then heard a thud behind her, making her turn around. Blaze saw Jasmine walk on the dock, heading towards her and smirking.

Jasmine: "Ah, you must be Princess Blaze."

Blaze: (glares at her) "I am, and you're behind the attack are you?"

Jasmine: "Guilty as charge."

Blaze: "Leave now or you'll feel my flames!"

Jasmine: "Not without the Eco Stone and Sol Emeralds sister!"

Blaze growled as she shoots flames at the Black cat, who jumped and smirked as she shoots Chaos Lances at Blaze, who also dodge the shots, then she was kicked back by Jasmine. The Princess got up and the two cats clashed in a cat fight, as the two kitties throw chops and kicks at each other, until Jasmine caught Blaze's wrist and twists it, making Blaze scream in pain.

Blaze: "Ahhhhhh!!!!" (then she was punched hard in the belly) "Offfff!"

Then Jasmine kicks Blaze, knocking her over.

Jasmine: "Heh, I though you were tougher than this."

Jasmine goes to kick Blaze in the head, but Blaze catches her foot and growls as she glares at her.

Blaze: "Oh I am...sister."

Blaze then tossed Jasmine through a shop window, making the darker cat cry out in pain. As she staggered out, she saw Blaze rocket through a Black Oak's stomach and shot her fist into Jasmine's stomach, winding her and carrying her over to the beach.

Jasmine: "OOF!"

They both landed on the beach, with Jasmine kicking Blaze off her. Blaze landed on her feet and shot fire at Jasmine, who dodged and fired a Chaos Spear at Blaze. The princess ducked, then she went to punch her, but Jasmine caught Blaze's fist and tossed back onto the street way.

Blaze: Agh!

Jasmine's hands glowed green as she landed on the beach and fired a blast at Blaze, who fired a streak of fire back at her, making a massive ball in between them. Both cat girls growled as they fell to their knees, slightly tired, though Blaze glared at Jasmine.

Blaze: "You'll never get your hands on the emeralds, and you will never find the Iblis Emerald and the Sceptre of Darkness.

Jasmine: (frowning) "The Sceptre of Darkness?" (Thinking) "She must know of the Solaris Project..." **

With Rad and Crystal, they got to the Jungle Island (Plant Kingdom) and they got deeper into the jungle where they are big tree and mushrooms in the background.

Crystal: "Brace yourself Raddy. This will be tough."

Rad: "Don't worry Crystal. I come prepared." (his fists are breezing air for battle)

Then the Black Soldiers lands in front of the couple and the two got ready to fight off the aliens. A solider shoots at the two who split up and Rad knocks some soldiers away with his nun-chucks and blasts a few away with his wind strikes. Crystal clash with a few with her fists and kicks. Crystal gave one an uppercut, sending it flying onto a mushroom head. She grabbed another's head and twisted it around, then she ducked to avoid the swipe of a sword from a Black Oak. She smirked upon seeing him.

Crystal: That sword is a bit small for you, ain't it?

The Black Oak tried to slash Crystal, who grabbed it's wrist and twisted it. As the Black Oak cringed in pain, Crystal caught it's sword and drive it into it's chest, then she swung around and slashed another's head off, then she tossed it into the chest of another Black Oak, before fist fighting a few more. Rad watched with an amazed look on his face.

Rad: "Sweet stuff."

He ducked to avoid a blast, then he slammed his fist into it's gut, then he jumped onto it's back and used his num chucks to twist it's beck. Rad grabbed its gun and shot some Black Arms that tried to hit Crystal from behind. Rad tossed the gun aside and saw a few more coming at them from a hill.

Rad: "Here we go."

Rad shot his hands out and sent a wind strike into the group of Black Arms, sending them flying into a deep pond. Rad turned to see Crystal defeating the last Black Arm, elbowing it over onto a spear. Crystal winked at Rad.

Crystal: "Slick moves you showed there, Raddy."

Rad: "Heh, thanks. I can say the same to you."

They looked up to see one of the Black Arms ship atop a hill.

Rad: "Let's get there and destroy it."

Crystal: "Right."

With Gadget and Marine, they're at the Machine Island (Machine Labyrinth) ready to bring down the Black Arms group here.

Gadget: "Be careful Marine. Those Black Arms are dangerous, plus we should use our brains for this battle."

Marine: "Ripper idea Gadget. You sure are a smart cute fella."

Gadget: (blushed) "Oh, heh, thanks..."

Marine: "No problem."

Then they see a group of Black Hawks flying at the young ones.

Gadget: "Get ready..."

Marine nods as she got out her nun-chucks and her hand is glowing water.

Gadget: "Go!"

Then Gadget flew at the Black Hawks and threw Ring Bombs at two of them while Marine whacks one on the head and blast it away with her Aqua Shot.

Gadget: "Slick moves, Marine!" (He grinned)

Marine: "I can say the same." (she winked)

It was then several Black Arm troopers ran at the youngsters, though Marine shot her hand out and they were all knocked over by her Aqua shot. Gadget grabbed Marine and tossed a Ring Bomb down at the Black Arm troopers.

Marine: "So, ya know whereabouts the main hill is, Gadget? That's where their ship will be."

Gadget: "I'll fly higher and see."

Gadget did so and spots a Black Ship on the big hill.

Gadget: (points) "Here it is Marine. Let's do it to it!"

Marine: (giggles) "Since when do you talk like Sonic?"

Gadget: "Well, since now." (blushed) "Let's get flying."

Gadget flew toward the ship, with Black Hawks pursuing at them, but Marine shoots them away with her Aqua shots. Other Black Arm troopers fire at them from below, though Gadget tossed Ring Bombs down at them. Soon, he and Marine landed on the side of the hill, looking up at the ship.

Marine: "How are we gonna destroy that thing?"

Gadget: "I could fly us up there, but with it being a big ship, they could shoot us upon seeing us...."

He turns and sees a catapult nearby. Marine followed his look and she grinned with him.

Marine: "I know what you're thinking, Gadget."

Gadget: "Bet you do, Marine. Let's go!" (he said as he readied some Ring Bombs)

Back on the main Sol Island, Blaze dodged a ship of Jasmine's claws, then she jumped over her opponent and kicked her in the back, though Jasmine stumbled and gave Blaze a curious look as she fired a Chaos Spear at her.

Jasmine: "Mind telling me what you know of the Solaris project?"

Blaze: "It's something my father and Talon use to work on, but it's secret"

Blaze shoots a fireball at Jasmine who bend to dodge it.

Jasmine: "I would like more answers..."

Blaze: (glared) "That's all you have to know!"

Blaze ran at him, until Jasmine use Chaos Eye to parverized Blaze. Then she grabs her by the arms.

Jasmine: "Maybe I'll check your mind to see the answers before taking you down."

Jasmine place her hand on Blaze's forehead to read her mind. However, Blaze hisses and looks at Jasmine, who just gotten a glimpse of a hedgehog similar to Shadow being sucked into the Sceptre, and a female snake with orange, lava like markings bring sucked into the Iblis Emerald. Jasmine then screamed as she felt her hands burning. She jumped back and saw Blaze floating in the arum fire all around her body as she glared at Jasmine, who chuckled.

Jasmine: "Heh...not bad..."

Blaze: "This is your last chance! Leave now or you and the Black Arms will die!"

She blasted a giant fireball at Jasmine who jumped outta of the way. However, the giant fireball rocketed towards the Black Arms ship over at Edge Island, blasting it to pieces. Jasmine tried to fight off a gasp, seeing Blaze was being serious. However, Jasmine glared back at the princess, her body glowing red as she floated in the air.

Jasmine: "I think I may kill you."

Then the two cats screamed in anger as they charge at each other. Causing a big explosion.

Meanwhile, Gadget and Marine toss the Ring Bombs on the ship, blowing it up. The two kids cheered and high five each other.

Marine: "You did it mate!"

Gadget: "No Marine, we did it. We're quite a team."

We now return to Rad and Crystal, both of whom reached the big hill the Black Arms ship was floating above of. Crystal punched an attacking Black Arm off the side, while Rad used his wind strike to send others flying over the side of the hill. Crystal noticed his wind strikes and looked at the ship above them.

Crystal: "Rad! See you if you can blow that thing into the ocean!"

Rad: "I'm on it, thing you'll have to swung me up at it."

Crystal: "Right."

Crystal grabbed the raccoon by his ankles and tossed him upwards. Though he didn't reach the ship's height, Rad shot his hands out and a couple of wind strikes shot from his hands, slamming into the ship's side. The Black Arm's ship spun around for a bit as it flew down downwards, then it slammed down and exploded on the beach.

Rad: (rise his fist in victory) "Booyah! That'll show those creeps!"

Crystal ran to Rad and hugged him.

Crystal: "Way a go hero!"

Rad: "Couldn't have done it without you babe."

Crystal smiled and blushed as the two kissed. But a few more Black soldiers ran at the couple and shoot at them. Crystal cried put as a shot cut her leg a little, though she glared at the shooter and kicked it in the face, knocking it over, then she punched another across the face, sending it flying aside, while Rad beaten some others with his nun-chucks. Then he blast a few more away with his wind strikes. Crystal tries to stand but her leg injury stings her and she's on her knees. Rad notices this and helps her up.

Rad: "You okay Crystal?"

Crystal: "I'm fine but one of them got my leg shotted..."

Rad sat his lover on a log and checked her leg. The cut was deep, though it stung a bit. Rad pulled some bandages out of his jacket pocket and gently tied it around the injury. Crystal winced at the pain, but smiled as Rad done it.

Crystal: "That's feeling a bit better...thanks Rad."

Rad: "My pleasure, Crystal." (he smiled as he picked her up) "let's get off this island."

Crystal nodded and Rad began to carry her down the hill.

Back on the main Sol Island, Blaze and Jasmine's fight just gotten bigger. The two cat girls blasted at each other, causing more explosions. Blaze punchs Jasmine in the face while Jasmine claw her in the belly and slam her fists on Blaze's head knocking her down on the ground forming a crater. Then Blaze got up and charge her flames as Jasmine ran at her, using Chaos Boost but Blaze counter with her Fire Boost and the two cats butt heads hard.

Blaze and Jasmine: "Urgh!"

Blaze was knocked back, but the claw marks on her stomach healed up. Jasmine was knocked back as well, her forehead bleeding slightly. Jasmine snarled as she launched Chaos Blast at Blaze, who shot through it and her fists formed flames around them as she slammed them into Jasmine's stomach, winding her opponent and shooting her downwards. As they slammed down onto the beach, Jasmine kicked Blaze in the face, though Blaze responded by punching Jasmine hard on the head, knocking her down in the ground further. Both cat girls panted tiredly, then Blaze stumbled out of the sandy crater, while Jasmine chuckled tiredly.

Jasmine: "Not...bad princess..."

Blaze: "Just give up..." (notices Jasmine's ship is still in the air) "All your other ships has been destroyed, and your troopers are dead."

Jasmine realized that Blaze is right, as she sees the ships are destroyed and only hers remains in the air.

Jasmine: (glared) "Fine then sister, but the Black Arms will return!"

Then Jasmine warp away through Chaos Control as Blaze sighs.

Blaze: "Good riddence..." (folds her arms and takes a deep breath)

Then Team Radical return to the beach and sees Blaze.

Marine: "Hey Blaze, we did it! We..." (sees Blaze's bruised state) "Stewth!"

Rad: "Blaze, you okay? You look bruised up."

Blaze: "Gotten into a fight with one of their commanders. She was quite tough, though I'll see the royal medical doctor after I've seen the rest of the people are okay."

Rad: "I see...Crystal gotten an injury as well, but I've bandaged it up."

Crystal: "He did a sweet job of it too. I'll say though Gadget and Marine must've handled their ones well."

Blaze: "Yeah, I noticed." (she smiled as she looked at Marine and Gadget) "You two are doing very well in the field lately. I'm very proud of you both."

Marine: "We couldn't have done it without each other, Blaze." (she smiled as she held a blushing Gadget's hand)

Gadget: "Y-Yeah." (he smiled) "Marine was very cool and brave out there though."

Rad patted their backs gently, smiling.

Rad: "Nice to see my best pal and my lil sis being tough together."

The kids blushed and the friends chuckled, though Blaze looked back at Jasmine's retreating ship, with a concerned look.

Crystal: "You okay, Blaze?"

Blaze: "It's just...when we were fighting each other, she tried to get in my head with a power called Chaos Eye...she did that after she questioned me about the Solaris Project."

Crystal: "Oh my, really?" (She gasped)

Gadget: "W-What did you tell her, Blaze?"

Blaze: "Only that it was something my father and Talon worked on, nothing more...still, we'll keep the townspeople safe for now."

Team Radical nodded and they headed back into the city.

With Jasmine, she was on board her ship, thinking of what she saw of the Solaris Project.

Jasmine: (to herself) "I thought they were a myth, but they're seal in those artifacts..."

Black Doom: (voice) "Jasmine... What's the progress?"

Jasmine: "Oh master sir. Well the Sol Islanders have did a number on my troops and two of the ships have been destroyed."

Black Doom: "Then use your ship to destroy the Islands from above."

Jasmine: "I can't. The ship's damage and I have a low group of soldiers now."

Black Doom: (voice) "Hmm, very well then. Return to the Comet and rest for a bit, then destroy those Islands after you've done so."

Jasmine: "Very well then."

Black Doom: (voice) "And Jasmine? Is there something you are not telling me?"

Jasmine: "No, sorry sir, just thinking of that princess I want to beat up."

Black Doom: (voice) "Very well then."

His voice left, and Jasmine sighed, then she stood up and headed to the back window of the ship as they neared the portal.

Jasmine: (to herself) "I'll tell him about the Iblis Emerald and the Sceptre of Darkness later....I need to rest though...we'll return and make that cat and her friends drown."

As she looked out the window, however, Jasmine looked concerned upon seeing the wreckage of the other ships, along with the third, and most of the wreckages of the saucers in the sea. She gulped as they entered the closing portal.

Jasmine: "But...why do many Black Arms have to get killed for this? What if the Mobians are too strong....and Axitus better be okay....because if he is, I'd like to tell him how I...feel about him..."

With that, Jasmine's ship left through the portal, which closed. Blaze and Team Radical stopped the Black Arms from getting the emeralds, and the Sol Islands.
